The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the easier and more beautiful walks into the heart of Nepal’s mythical Himalayas.
While Annapurna and the other mountains around it rise upwards of 26,000 feet, the glacial cirque below is situated at a more reachable 13,500 feet.
Here travelers are rewarded with unparalleled 360 degree views of the towering mountains above.
En-route, hikers on a 10-day trek will pass through the fascinating and friendly ethnic villages of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali people. Along the path, nature is ever-present, with gorgeous rhododendron forest, rushing rivers and snowy peaks all around.
Join Dan Crandall, International Sales Manager at Adventures Within Reach, for an informative slideshow and discussion about the experience of hiking inside the Annapurna region and general travel within Nepal. We’ll talk about what to expect regarding accommodations, meals, trail conditions, transportation basics, and more.
Please join us and learn more about this renowned region of Nepal!
