I am mostly happy with their work too, but you only can get evolv rubber. My galileo's came back really soft and floppy (supposed to be edgy shoes) but i'm not sure if that is their fault or the age of the shoes. I had other shoes that were fine afterwards.

rock and resole has always done good work for me, and if you're near boulder, you can save on shipping by dropping off and picking up. They also usually are done in a week or less.

I'm about to send mine off to John Ramuta. I can report back if you're interested.

I've used Rock n Resole in Boulder several times with good results. Have done my hiking boots there too.

I sent a pair a few months ago to Ramuta's - best price after shipping and good work. I went with Onyx.

I normally use the Rubber Room in Bishop (and have for many years), but when I last called Rock & Resole had a turnaround time of a few days versus 3-4 weeks with either the Rubber Room or Yosemite Bum.

The first time I needed resoles, I sent them to Komito Boots, as I'd heard good things & I hope to some day retire there, so I wanted to support my hopefully-future-local-business. I wasn't impressed at all. Glue everywhere. Looked like an art project. Edges not vertical. It was a pair of Miuras and a pair of Katanas.

The next resoles I needed done, I sent to Rock & Resole. A pair of Tarantulas and a pair of Mythos. Came back better than new. Very neat & smooth.

Obviously, these shoes aren't comparable (and just to clarify, these are actually mix of kids & wife's shoes; i'm getting ready to send my Cobras off to R&R in the next week) but so far R&R is my choice.

Big fan of rock and resole, I prefer them over the rubber room (the only two places ive tried) but not by much.

The search function seems to be working funky, but here's a few recent ones that visit the topic.

Yosemitebum did a horrible job on the rands of my shoes making them unwearable. Basically they changed the shape of the toe-box so that my toe nails bite into my toes and I cannot stand the pain. These were my all day trad shoes so it is not a minor change in already tight fitting shoes.
