Description
A little gem of a spot where you can find sun or shade all day. Developed after the publication of the latest guidebook, so likely to be quiet, even on the weekend. Nine easy to moderate single-pitch routes, from 45 to 90 feet long. When that newby is no longer enthralled by watching you fall off at Pipe Dream, you can take a short five-minute stroll to the Birthday Corridor and let him climb a bit, too.
Getting There
Start up the Right Fork trail toward the Pipe Dream. After about 20-25 minutes, the trail forks - left to Pipe Dream or right to Viewpoint. Take the right fork. In about 2-3 minutes more the trail takes a sharp right to skirt a small tree. Immediately there is an offshoot trail on the right (marked by lines of rocks currently); follow it to the Birthday Corridor. In all, it takes about 30 minutes from the trailhead.
