This thread will live in perpetuity. It is immortal! It cannot be killed. Garlic, silver bullets, administrators - it doesn't matter, they're powerless!

Saw this feature in the Toscano catalog last year or so. Looks like a fine addition to the yard I'd say...sort of zombie influenced for sure.

Valley trad climbers in the 90+ degree heat have no brains left to feed on....they've boiled away and are just running on pure adrenaline, amphetamines and energy drinks pumping through an otherwise lifeless body.

NOTE: Edit update here....seems we broke the system at 1,000 posts cuz Buff's post on a 'page 41' has not shown up as far as I can see here. Guess somebody needs to start up a part 2.

How do you guys get the most recent post to show up on page 40, instead of the invisible page 41?

Edit: I did it! Answered my own question. Remarkable. Colorful balls.

So we can just keep posting on the bottom of page 40, pushing everything else back a little? Let the nonsense continue! We're back in business...

Back in '85 I was climbing in Tuolumne with John Rosholt (the "Gambler"-I never called him that-but I never played cards with him; that would be foolish), he really wanted to go down to the Valley and do Stoner's Highway. So, we made the drive downhill, had pizza and 3.2 beer at Degnan's, and headed over to the Middle in 104 degree heat. He led the crux pitch in typical Rosholt style, as I was following the traverse, I was ready to (sell Buicks, technicolor yawn, romance the porcelain, YAK).He was kinda pissed that I wanted to go down.

I believe heat affects your decision making in far worst way then cold. I heard a story of an MS patient unable to speak but when he was put in a tub of ice he was actually able to speak. Something about neurotransmitters. Im not sure how it worked. Hence saying : hot head.

Ha I look Asian or Mexican but im neither :) im a mutt! Some say I even look black ( which is cool) my driving skills are not the best but I enjoy driving . The sence of humor may be cultural although my countrymen would not own up to it.
