Always looking for new partners, who are interested in alpine climbing. My goals for this season are D7, Yellow Wall, a lot of stuff in Glacier Gorge. Maybe I am jumping over my head, as recently I was aiding a 10a pitch on Salathe. So I don't really know anymore what I can climb. But if anyone has similar goals, lets climb at Castle Rock or Lumpy or something first.

I'm interested. Those are on my list as well. Do you have weekdays free? Have you done some of the easier climbs on the diamond?

I can take some weekdays off. And I have done Casual and Pervertical several times.

Want to get out this weekend, possibly bivy? I'm hoping to get to cooler altitudes on Fri and Sat! I've done the casual route a few times, but always enjoy going up it. What did you have in mind in glacier gorge?

I too am looking for a solid alpine partner who can take the sharp end. I have quite a bit of experience in the mountains (skied all the 14ers, denali, etc...) and can lead 5.9 trad. Anything in the park is good, would especially like to get up the Diamond this summer. Looking for a challenge.

we had perfect weather saturday without a chance of it raining. Warmer than expected. Windy. approach is 6 miles i think? We started hiking the night before and climbed the first few pitches in the dark because my buddy has done the route. Fire up a few chimney pitches and pretty much go straight up till you have to take a right onto some ledges, then fire back left two awesome pitches to the top. Rap was epic, it was super windy so when we threw our ropes they would go straight up, hover, then proceed to turn into a tangled mess below us. Just make sure you stay on the bolts(two ropes of course). I wrote down the rap description to bring on the climb and it proved crucial for finding the rap stations. Enjoy!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
