yes, the east coast, especially the gunks and seneca have the easiest ratings. i believe the red and boulder canyon byfar have the hardest- a 5.9 in boulder canyon is like a 5.11 anywhere else. duh!

Personally, I don't think Mastercams make very good climbing shoes. Try other cams on your feet.
