Hi all,

Driving up from Atlanta sometime soon to climb in the Tennessee Wall area and I am looking for some advice about where to stay for the night after climbing the wall for the day. I realize I could google this but I was wondering if you guys had some insider information about some quality cheap digs...

thanks,
Addison

+1 for the hostel. But you can camp for free off the road. There is no water or bathrooms etc. I would want a shower after climbing in this weather! Raccoon mountain campground has amenities.

Just camp man. Well shaded area and its free. As far as the shower, c'mon. Just take some wet wipes, especially if its just for one night. If all else there is a small waterfall at the top of the trail you can use to rinse off.

Yeah, just camp. I like the smaller area on the left just before the parking lot. If you're looking for comfort, you might as well just drive home. Its only 2 hours.

Crash pad is pretty cool and they are very helpful with area information.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
