picking these up to replace my miuras, do know that they stretch so i was going to size them down a 1/2 size from my miuras to accommodate the stretch.
so it'd be like this
41 1/2 miuras
41 katana laces

i tried on the 41 1/2 katana laces but my shop didnt have the 41s to try on...the fit was fairly similar to my miuras so im worried about them losing their tight fit after break in.

i actually have the opposite, my katana laces are 41.5 and my miuras are 41. Katana Lace's didnt stretch much for me, but i dont cram my toes in. Big toe lies flat and last three are slightly curled due to the assymetric shape

Great question, the pair I put on were way to comfortable so I didn't buy them. I was worried they would stretch and there wasn't a smaller pair to try on.

nice, my pointer toe (WTF is it called) is about the same length as my big toe and also lies flat.

I sized my Katana laces down a full size from my street show size (40.5 down to 39.5). They felt tight at first and I even had a tiny amount of knuckling, but after a few pitches they "softened" up nicely and the knuckling went away...so I'd say they did stretch but only in volume. I've got about 30 pitches on them now and they feel great. YRMV

I am 7/7.5 street size and I got 38.5 Katana Lace. They were really tight (especially width wise) for about 15 pitches. Now that I have more than 30 pitches in on them, they are PERFECT. I hope they do not stretch out more over time. As a comparison, for my gym shoes, I wear size 6.5 Mad Rock. Same deal - very tight at first then perfect after about 5 sessions.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
