What Sportivas do you wear? What kind of climbing, specifically, are you looking to do?

Just got this shoe a month ago, not very aggressive but better comfort if the tradeoff. Plus their cheap! Got them a half size larger than my last pair and feel fine, but could have gone a whole size up.

Scarpa Techno - go 1/2 size down from street.

Use code JFX5263F before 1159 MDT and they're $52

if you're lucky enough to have your size left. Great all round, all day shoe. Good for cracks and can still edge.

Yes. Buy a shoe that is comfortable. They are usually the most comfortable.

Drop the money for the TC's, they are awesome. I was hesitant to get my first pair because of the money, I'm now on my second pair.

no way! go with the tried and tested, the muiras are the obvious choice here. I love mine for almost all bouldering, long trad routes, and occasionally i get on some sport with 'em. great edging, smearing, cracks, and more than good enough on overhangs

if i had to choose a long all day trad shoe that wasn't as much suited for sport climbing, i'd go with the 5.10 moccs
