I'm assuming that the comment on the photo is a jab at the new paved parking lot between SC and BOtB walls. I'm not crazy about having to see changes, but they are inevitable and recognizing this as a good and calculated move to help preserve access helps ease the discomfort. I think we all just want an area to be preserved in the state we fell in love with it in, like when we fall in love with a woman. But we just need to remember that a lot of people fall in love with that same woman, and it would be brutish not to share her with them.

Well put Timmy, I've only been making the drive to the creek for the last four years but seeing the parking lot was a bit hard for me. Then I have to think back to Ed Abby's time when the road to the needles wasn't even paved and we all just have to come to terms with the fact that change is inevitable.

Actually, it would get pretty bad at times. Yes, unfortunately change is inevitable. You can blame it on the release of the guidebook, or whatever, but it happened.

look any way you look at it this is the creek!!!! people packed together like a shit show .. so if we pave a sweet path up an around SC BOTB DC would it "help preserve access" wen i would see the cool pull out packed .. what i would do is drive down the road an climb at Scare face the new Super crack! or some ware else ... soon we will see a big "change" an everyone will be wishing for a lil dirt pullout .... an TT your comment was super corny give me a wag bag to puke in...

Devin, if I understand your comment correctly, which is hard to do, then you do not understand access issues. Were you at public lands day this year? Last year? Have you commented on the ATC trail that may be coming? If you climb at the Creek, anywhere in the Indian Creek drainage, you are part of the problem that created the parking lot. And if you didn't show up to help out, then you are even more of the problem.

Sam wasn't talking about you working on your second rate routes bud. He was talking about being a good land steward.

Devin, I think people might be able to understand you, and take your opinion a bit more serious if you used something like this before you hit submit.
