Recently re located to Burlington VT area and looking to find some folks who might want to climb. Down to climb most anything lead to about .9 trad .10 sport and boulder v4/v5 ish. Not picky just enjoy getting out into the woods making some moves. I have wheels and full rack let me know. My schedule is up in the air at the moment but i have tomorrow off if anyone is down or just hit me up and we can hopefully figure something out.

I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding partners. Hit up Petra Cliffs as another resource.

Oh, and go bouldering at Smuggler's Notch. Frequently. It's awesome.

Is climbing permitted on Camel's Hump? I hiked that back in college. Such a cool peak.

i forget exactly where it is but i through-hiked the long trail last summer and somewhere in the immediate vacinity of smuggler's notch there was something that i THINK was called elephant's rock? there was a great deal of bouldering around the base of it right off the road but elephant's rock itself looked to be an immense cliff above it that had significant multi-pitch potential. anyone know anything about it? i didn't stop and look at it for long so for all i know it might be chossy and not worth climbing but if not, it could have some incredible multi-pitch lines.

Yeah it's called Elephant's Head, in fact it is part of the preview page for the new Vermont guidebook: vermontrock.com/sample

I do have a few friends that have had their cars broken into while they were hiking, I always worry about it happening.
