Ever used an Edelrid Pad?

I was looking into the Edelrid Mantle Pad, the one with the fancy zipper action. Has anyone used one of these? Are the zippers strong? Is it big? Any other thoughts? Thanks

I saw one out one day and was not impressed at all with the zipper "feature". It looked cheap and very prone to failure after a decent bit of use. That being said, I don't own one and didn't handle it, but watching the person deal with it, it didn't appeal to me.

I have their deadpoint or whatever the big taco fold they make is. I bought it because I wanted as much area for as little coin as possible, it satisfies that desire. It's seen 2 or 3 seasons of use and has held up nicely, but the zipper on the bottom is probably the worst closure system I've ever seen.
Regardless, the foam is good, the kick mat is rad, and it came with a sit start mat for a really screamin good price.
I dont really have much experience with the mantle, but based on my experience with the one I have it's probably an alright rig.

Why is the zipper such a bad closure system? The mantle is all zippers I believe. That could be a problem...
