And there is a facebook group called San Antonio Climbers, I left it though because it's run by a group of 30 year old potheads who smart off in every topic you make, make fun of inexperienced people instead of help them, make plans with you and leave you waiting at the crag alone, etc etc etc, nothing gets accomplished there, it's just a place for people who already know each other to post their nonsense and run new comers off.
My partner and I and are getting involved with Central Texas Mountaineers and other groups that are involved in development in the area, so if your into helping develop let me know as well and I will point you in the right direction and hopefully see you around at our trail projects or putting up some new routes.
Russell, that sounds great I'll be in touch! Robert, it sucks you hated Texas! I like it so far, but I've only been here a month! Thank you guys four ALL the info I admit I wasn't prepared four such a massive response!
I have been to lifetime to climb once, actually the only climbing I've done since I've been here. I liked the gym and the routes a lot, although I find $85 a month to be a little steep especially when the hours for the wall is so limited.

Definitely go do the Limestoner comp March 31. It's very chill and I'm sure you can find a belayer for that. Great way to meet a ton of climbers, too. Dang, wish I was going!
