so my partner bailed on me for personal and financial reasons. I still wanna go, have too much invested time and money wise not to. I have a moderate amount of big wall experience, been on two walls in zion, slept a few nights on a ledge etc. Definitely have things to learn, but I'm eager and motivated to get up el cap!

I've got pretty much all the gear needed, and have access to an older A5 double ledge/fly and the biggest BD haulbag. Triples/quads in most sizes, off set mastercams, totem cams (yay xmas, these things rock!!!), the basics in hooks/cam hooks, offset alloys etc. Brand spanking new 60m lead line, snake charmer rope bag, belay seat, yates harness, 2:1 haul setup, a 7mm tag line...basically all I need is a partner who knows how to use it all.

Free climbing, I can comfortably do 5.8, 5.9 (with a bit of whimpering, but working on that hard) in the valley,
My schedule is pretty flexible, I can take a pretty big chunk of time off if needed. As far as routes, we were looking at the nose, both of us being El Cap virgins, but if you have something else in mind I am way open to just about anything.

I'm based in Denver, so someone local would be nice to get to know. but really just want someone who knows their shit and wants to have a relative gumby along, or another relative gumby at about the same level as me.

Thanks,
Phill

El capitan is my dream! I have also been working to get there, but im slightly behind on my aid gear.

I am a solid climber but a virgin at aid climbing. Comfortable on 5.11 sport and 5.10 for 5-7 pitches on multi pitches.

You may want to consider another partner if your going spring( since you want an expert aid climber) but if only for practicing... Let me know ralphy_one@yahoo.com.

Please PM me if you're still looking for partner. I'm in Stapleton... rusty, but thinking about doing a big wall this summer.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
