i wish i coulda climbed that stuff before the fall... :)

old reliable that obvious crack coming up into the same alcove?

Great historical shot Brian. Interesting that Brett is belaying from beneath Badlands. Big run out! Merril was looking at a big swing off the hard barn-door start of MOP.

Crazy that everything behind Brett's back and butt is gone!

Thanks guys, Old Reliable was a great climb. I remember watching Mark Rolofson take a 25' plunge off the crux.

I was looking through old photos with Les Ellison recently and came across the original slide for this one. Les is belaying and the photo was taken by Gail Ellison.

Pretty terrifying to consider that the massive chunk of stone behind the belayer fell to the earth and is no longer there, right?!
