This line is slight off target. It ascends to the left and up to the tree. After the tree the Monolith route ascends directly up past bolts. The actual beginning of the ascent is hidden from view. The best way to gain these climbs is Chris Buckley's arete or going up the mountaineers trail to this ledge's top. The trail is almost gone after the rock climbing section.
