I just signed on to this site so I could post a response to this picture. I spoke with the person who took it (a week ago) and explained that the rock is on private property. Not only has the owner asked for people to not get on it (I have and now respectfully will not), but they also have a rottweiller that isn't exactly friendly. Ute Valley is for everyone, I don't own it, but I've been climbing here a while, so I will speak my mind. Please respect the homes in that area and the fact that you are off the [very] beaten paths of Ute Valley. Please understand that when you post to sites such as this, people do visit the climbs and areas and that can have consequences; trash, noise, etc., which can lead to complaints and possibly loss of access (especially if access wasn't legitimate in the first place). I am not going to ask you to remove the picture, it isn't my place to. I understand that it is nice to have a forum where you can ask about things and get community feedback, just don't forget about the locals and those who will continue to use the area into the future.
