The ice here would be incredible if you catch in in shape. The Fargin Ice Hole has haunted my dreams. I have watched for it almost every drive through the canyon in the winter. It would be a great little line.
Some ice on the left side of the canyon in March 2008. It was all gone when I went back a week later. I went back in the winters of 2009 and 2010 but none of this ice was there then, either. Note the cool column of ice in the cave on the right side of the photo. We called it the Fargin Ice Hole, though we never climbed it or any of the ice routes in the canyon.
