So I have been looking for some information on The Tusk in the Chugach Range. If anyone has any info let me know. Below is a photo and a video.

Get to Valdez and you can see it to the se as you drive down Thompson Pass on the way to Valdez. From there I'll leave it up to you to get there...heli, sled, at, teleport. It would only be sane to attempt if there is snow covering the whole approach if you plan to do the at, or sled option.

To be honest the teleport option sounds the best. Thanks for our help. No thought on ratings?

it's probably somewhere between 3-4k feet of 50-60 degree snow and then you would encounter the actual tusk, but rock quality can vary from ok to the worst stuff imagineable

Ben,
I went to high school with Dean Cummings. Are you still interested in the Tusk? I can put you in touch if you are. Cammo
