Description Suggest change

Probably the most popular natural attraction in all of Guilin, youÂ’re most likely already familiar with the iconic Moon Hill if youÂ’ve been looking into climbing in China. The giant arch was one of the first pieces of stone to be bolted in YangShuo and is a top priority for many a traveling climber. The arch was adopted as a symbol of both YangShuo and Guilin county some time ago and has been declared some sort of protected area complete with entrance booths, touts, and whatnot. Regardless, the area is heavily traveled by tourists so keep an eye out, especially when grabbing those delicate tufas up above.

Getting There Suggest change

Moon Hill park is down the road from the Wine Bottle area. The bus stops here so it shouldnÂ’t be difficult to find. You have to pay a couple dollars to get inside the park and then schlep it up several hundred stairs. DonÂ’t worry, there will be touts all over the place with cool refreshments.
