Looking to go climbing Monday from 7am to 230pm. Willing to swap leads up to 8 or be a willing belay slave on a 9.

The Mount Evans Aprons are also a definite possibility.

Are the Aprons reasonable yet? Can you get all the way to summit lake via car/truck or is it still just a long approach?

I thought I had heard the summit was open. Ill have to look to confirm though.

it's still ski mountaineering & couloir climbing up on evans. not that it's not possible; but it's not balmy rock climbing. last weekend was blizzard conditions and zero degrees with the wind chill

Sunday morning was pretty nice and warmed up fast. We were trying to stay in the shade to keep mixed climbing reasonable

Chris, that's awesome! what line did you guys end up finding agreeable?

We tried Mount Evans micro goulotte but it was unprotectable to our satisfaction (I'm only 4 weeks off a bad ankle sprain today) so we move two gullies climbers left and did that instead. Mod snow, m-easy a little chosen but fun anyway.
