rifle closed?

had some friends drive up from boulder yesterday and had to turn around at the entrance. i heard it is most likely gonna be closed for awhile, well passed the weekend from what i here

Yup, closed @ least for the weekend. There are cops there that will bust you for trespassing if you try to hike in & climb.

I'll try to post again when it reopens.

Just talked to the city of rifle he said the park will be closed tell the runoff is down some time mid to end of june.

Update: just heard that Rifle is open again.

Update #2: you currently have to park @ the canyon entrance (around the fish hatchery I believe) & walk in.

We went up to the park today it is 100% open and drying out nicely.
