recent comments for an area?

I like being able to search for new photos in an area - is there a similar method to look for new comments in an area? If I am looking at the Gunks, for instance, this gets me the most recent photos

Is there an equivalent for comments? I'd like to be able to scan an area quickly for condition reports or just new info, but wouldn't want to click through every route in the Trapps looking for it, for instance.

You could do:
-What's New
-Pick the location
-Choose your within last range
-Showing comments

Strange I've apparently never even really noticed or considered clicking the "What's New" link. I think it is because it is after the "Deals" section - my brain probably subconsciously filters it out as advertising space...

OR on the main page for an area click "what's new" and then comments or photos or whatever...
