San Diego Guide book
|
Does anyone know of a good guide book for San Diego County? I know the destinations section of the site is handy, but something for the field would be great. |

The SD County Climbing Guide (Kennedy/Hubbard) is available from Deadpoint Press and at all area shops. It's a great county overview and almost never leaves my pack. |

ACSD sells a nice pocket guide for 3 badass backcountry areas. gearcoop.com/San-Diego-Clim… |

Hello All. I know the last post on this was years ago, so I figured I would ask the same question again. Any guidebooks for San diego bouldering? Mountain Project lists problems, but no actual guide. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. |

Time for a reprint or 3rd edition? What do you think, Mr. Hubbard? |

I think there was a newish guide for Southern California that had some San Diego info (including some bouldering); it's available at Mesa Rim. If you can get your hands on the Hubbard guide, there's also that, but honestly I don't know how much bouldering area beta it includes. |

Anyone know where I can get my hands on an acsd pocket guide? I would like to have access to a climbers topo of eagle peak and it seems that this is the only resource. |

I'm pretty sure the original ACSD Pocket Guide is out of print, and I thought I heard last year that they were going to release a new one. Maybe try to reach out to someone there and find out what the scoop is? They might be nice and share a photo or digital copy of the old one at least. Keep me posted... |

It's kind of a bummer, but understandable since they are working on new pocket guides. The hunt for Eagle peak beta continues! |
|
Whats the deal? Are they making them? C'mon ACSD shame.... shame... |
