Gunks climbing partner - weekend march 19/20

Hi!
I'm new to this area (live in Princeton, NJ). So far have been climbing mostly in Europe. Looking for someone to show me around the Gunks.
Have gear (currently no rope, but that will change), no car unfortunately.
Climbing level of 6c/ VII(+) UIAA at lead (maybe a bit less now:)

Hi all, tell me please - if I go there alone with no rope (but all gear) do I have a chance of finding someone to climb with this weekend? Don't know how it look like in terms of number of people and opportunities to team up.

As long as the weather is nice, the Gunks is always going to be very, very crowded. If you walk along the carriage road (the main access and approach road) you will almost certainly find someone to climb with. It might take 1 or 2 hours, but just walk around and ask anyone who is alone if they are looking for a partner... it will usually work.
