Hanging draws really?
|
I kind of thought alot of people on here were argumentative douches but climbers really cry about people hanging draws? I saw the smith rock video its pretty unbelievable. I guess by reading some of the comments people seem to think hanging draws is a crime in itself. If your looking at draws on the wall that's someone hard work shit it could be a goal for the summer to send that route. But I guess its an eye sore for some people. Where do some of there climbers get this attitude from? If I'm working a route hiking up their everyday I'm leaving draws and if and when I stick it I take them down. |

haha...you're looking to stir up some Friday trouble eh? |

So if you never "stick it" they never come down?.......Until they get stolen.....here we go again. Unless they are a pain to clean.....and you do not mind buying new ones.....take them down I guess. |
|
Does anyone have any of this? |
|
Considering that any route can usually be quickly equipped by stick clip aiding, I have zero sympathy for those who get their draws stolen. At the same time every thief deserves a severe thrashing. Leaving draws up continually is very much like graffiti, some people enjoy it. What more is there to say? |

Why climb outside at all if you're remaking the rock into a gym? Grow some nads and climb trad. I'll be trollin' for your draws all summer. |
|
Is super-gluing the crux draw shut considered bad form? |

Another Andy-freakin-Rooney of the online climbing world. How special. |

Leave no trace, its a way of life. Can't do much about the bolts except wish I could send it. |

LMAO? |

I know this has been covered ad-nauseum, but please consider that not everybody shares our vertical enthusiasm. Lots of non climbers get pissed when they see draws hangin. Non climbers hastle land managers and land managers sometimes close areas. You might consider not leaving them as an act of self preservation. Just my two cents. PNISOAMW, LOL, FOOBAR, ABC. |

I've posted this before on the multiple other threads but keep in mind the tale of Superfresh in the Flatirons. A hiker saw the bolts going in and complained and blamo...bolting ban in the flatirons. |

If your such a trad climber you should probably have all your gear before you go bashing climbers online like some seasoned vet. I've got trad gear actually got it on pro deal from BD not because im a badass just because I met the rep in Salida....and im not a douche. |
