Super bowl or...

You guys are soooo cool! Some of you didn't even realize the game was this weekend? Man you must have such a fulfilling life. I mean really you must be the most unique individuals ever. Wow! Not watching the Super Bowl that’s so different, why didn't I think of that? You know what else is totally cool? Fixed gear bikes and indie bands no one has ever heard of.

To express my individuality I avoid corporate coffee chains and mainstream movies. Yeah I hate that stuff, can I join the cool kids club now? Please.

I spun around in circles on the velodrome at Boulder Indoor Cycling for two hours.

Hold on now: I am confused! I went skiing on Sunday(cool?), but got home in time to watch the game (uncool?)...

Also I like corporate coffee (uncool?) and yet I have a single-speed mountain bike (cool? or uncool?).

I can't tell which table I am allowed to sit at...pretty sure someone is going to take my lunch money either way...

Richard definTly not an hipster, it has to be a fixed ss road bike that is ment for the valadrome. Also it helps to have spoke cards, which I am sure your bike does not have. Also I am pretty sure that any hipster could not climb out side. They usually only climb in the gym.

Lastly, that hot dog looks so good. I don't even eat hot dogs, but that one...man, I would eat the shit out of that. That shindig. On top of the ice climb looks awesome!!!

Thanks for all of those who responded. I was just curious about that question.

I do not understand all this "holier than thou cuz I don't watch organized sports" crap. You don't have to like it but you also don't have to think you're better b/c of it (yeah, you know who you are). I'm proud to say I love football, camped out on my couch and ate copious amounts of pizza, wings, and grapes (yes, grapes.) and thoroughly enjoyed watching my Pack trounce the Steelers. Besides, it was hella cold here in WI...

I thought I made it quite clear when I said that I don't support sports that I was not allowed to play! Softball was awesome. Soccer was awesome. Basketball kicked my butt and it was a good workout. I never played hockey, but I think it's really fun to watch minor league or college hockey.

Go to the Superbowl - but only to make money to go on climbing trips.

Both. They are not mutually exclusive, thanks to Tivo. I climbed hard (for me) in Sedona all weekend, got home late Sunday after the game was over, then got out the chips & beer & watched the SB. Minus most of the commercials & half-time show, of course.

I bet those people are in the "I'm cooler and smarter than you cuz I don't own a TV" crowd.

I don't really like organized sports. I really don't have time to watch. I'd rather play. With that, I spent the day skiing knee deep powder while smokin a SUPER bowl. I'm pretty sure I drank some whiskey too.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
