9 out of 10 Climbers... McLeod... what do you think?

I like to read. Sometimes I read about climbing. I enjoyed the SCC and I think it gave me some new things to think about, which is very important. |

I've not read the article, but the book tends to jump somewhat randomly between topics. Its really more of a compilation of random thoughts on training than anything else. The segments stand on their own quite well but they tend not to flow together. |

I've read the book and agree that he wanders from topic to topic, but the good stuff is all there. It's worth reading. |

ditto what others have said. i thought it had good info on falling. in particular how it took him approximately 5000 falls to be fully stress-proofed. |

The MacLeod book is the best book for the advanced climbers out there who want to break out of the rut. |

I'm not an advanced climber but I've enjoyed McLeod's blog in the past and all his writing seemed well thought out, from training to trip reports. I don't know about his training manual though. I reckon it would be better written than if Sharma wrote his own? |

Well worth perusing, a good read imo... |
