Would love to get out to Indian creek this thanksgiving, I can leave as early as Tuesday night and stay till Sunday. I have never climbed at the creek but am comfortable on cracks and lead mid 10s or follow to 11a. So if your looking to get out to the Creek for thanksgiving or you are going with a group and have room for one more send me a PM.

I have a set of camalots .4-6, with doubles in 1 and 2, set of TCU's and a set of Rock Empire cams 0.5"-3".

I've never been to indian creek before. Will thanksgiving be in the prime season temperature-wise or a bit cold? Will it be warmer there thatn say Red Rocks?

It can be pretty good (you need a jacket at night, but its warm enough to climb without during the day), but the current long term forecast is pretty grim. Keep an eye on it, the current forecast is snow on monday, then slowly warming up to the 50s by the weekend.

I was at the Creek last weekend. Supposedly cold weekend, Monticello was around 34? max daily. The nights were freezing, frost all over the car. But during the day you could climb in t-shirt or shirt on walls that were sunny and hidden from wind. Tiny breeze and clouds made a lot of difference though.

Bump.

Weather is looking chilly but Snow/Rain free from Weds on.

Also I wouldn't mind mountain biking for at least 1 day around Moab during the trip as well.

PM if your interested in creeksgiving!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
