Vegas Beer Nite

Anyone want to hit the 3 Angry Wives on the 1st of Sept? Got a couple of b-days around that time, and it'd be fun to see folks again after a summer of slogging up glaciers. Venue open to debate.

How many different beers do they have?

Kind of a typical vegas irish themed pub. so usual domestics, plus UK imports. not the kind of establishment you go looking for a PNW imperial IPA, if you get my drift, but solid. Good food, plus a nice sitting area with big leather couches.

Scott, we're in if we're in town. : ) We're WAY over due from a beer night, and catching up with you guys!

I knew there was an ulterior motive for Scott wanting to go back to Vegas before the Cascade season was officially over. It had nothing to do with slogging or relationship issues. It had to do with beer night...;)

Gigi, wish I could be there! I was thinking of you the other day. I was cussing a blue streak that would have embarrassed a 20-year Navy man while sketched out on an alpine lead. Luckily the wind was blowing hard and my partner Kateri didn't hear a thing! I seem to remember you talking about doing the same.

I wish you could be there too!

And, Yes... the perfect time to yell at, and cuss out your partner (I mean to get daily life stressors off your chest) is in the wind, as there would be no repercussions because you won't even be heard. Ahhh, the beauty of long routes!

Miss you, Lee, and think of you guys often. Lately, when we've been mentioning some names of Alpine routes in Colorado, I think of you, and Tracy with all the Alpine routes, and adventurous stuff you guys do out there.

Gigi- if you think CO's got some great alpine routes, i'll show you some pix from the cascades. the weather's arguably a little worse, and there's glaciers on the approaches, but beats RMNP for full-value adventure, thats for sure...
btw, jason hit it right on. much as i dislike slogging up 25 degree snow all summer, and want to get back to my lady, i really wanted to go to BEER NITE!

What time on Wednesday? Don't we usually do 7pm?

7ish sounds great. Don't worry, Gigi, we'll make sure you leave at a reasonable hour. I've learned the hard way (again) this summer about imbibing too much prior to alpine starts... See ya'll then.
