Orphaned routes?

Do orphaned routes need to be adopted? For example I did Third World Zone this morning and saw that it was listed as Orphaned. I can beef up the description and add pictures if desired.

Yes. Send an email to the administrator for the area and he or she will then assign the route to you.

Funny thing, I saw that id and figured it was just a clever name.

In the days of climbingboulder, I kept seeing these crazy posts from Anonymous Coward....

Does Anon Coward always get assigned to you when you leave a site? I found some old posts of mine elsewhere on the web, still up but listed as Anon Coward after I took myself off the site. Better to be an 'orphan?

Chris, it's now reassigned to you.

Routes, photos, areas, and various other things get orphaned for a wide variety of reasons.

If you feel you can improve an orphaned object in the database, ask an administrator for the object/area to reassign it to you.

Thanks.
