Can someone please send me the old Dr. Topo .pdf file for Maple canyon? I believe a 6-pack would be in order to finalize this transaction.

Thanks,

Price

Please do so! Is it saved to your computer or is it an online PDF? I figure it is on your computer...

The guy that ran DrTopo asked that no one post or host these topos. He admitted theres nothing he can do to stop them from being passed around, but you could at least respect not posting them.

Do you know why he would ask that? It just seems weird to me that someone who once supplied free beta to people would suddenly want people to not share beta. Just curious why the sudden flip of the switch? Free beta ---> No beta.

A little more info on the shut-down:

It's not surprising that they couldn't make it work but it is a shame. It was a great site. Unfortunately the same frugalness, anti consumerism, low income and "trying to see how far a can make a dollar stretch" attitude that pervades much of the climbing culture also makes it hard for little guys like Dr Topo to make it unless they just do it as a hobby. The site was much appreciated and will be missed.

And if they have asked that topos not be posted I will support their wishes.

Ben

Jason Stevens now sells a .pdf version of his old guidebook. It covers more areas than the Dr. Topo did and is only $12.

Price, hit me up if you are ever looking for a partner, especially for Maple.

This thread is a little old but I'm looking for the same thing. Dr Topos links are all dead as said above and the link to the $12 guide isn't working either. Any suggestions?

Emails chrism780@yahoo.com if someone has the PDF.

Thanks

Here's the link for the guide. I bought it last year, and it's definitely worth the $12.

beta.drtopo.com/guidebooks/…

From this thread it seems that this shouldn't exist but I found in online just doing a google search. When I traced the link back to its source sight I found this: beta.drtopo.com/

Dr Topo is quite as dead as it would seem.

Hope this helps,

Andrew
