2nd pitch of turkey foot crack.

I'm very sure I am correct.

Here are two pictures from the same location on a route I got shut down on. It started off as a 5.9 crack then turned into some unprotected slab moves.

to the belay

to the business

upper part of straw turkey? if i'm right, post another one for me.

Phil Lauffen · · Innsbruck, AT · Joined Jun 2008 · Points: 3,098

I don't think so...

The route description for straw turkey doesn't mention this bit. However, you are very hot.

it might be listed as the last pitch to satyr's asshole. gets a little grim up there.

That would be it. I don't have access to any pictures right now so open picture submit to anyone I guess... Whoever is first!

For sure someone is going to get this one quickly.
Lots of people stop here to break up a long drive (hint).

Can you keep it down please?

Roar of the Greasepaint...whatever that means.

Correct Mike. As for the "whatever that means", there is 'historical' greasepaint graffiti near the base of this climb from the early Mormans in the area: names and dates and such. And it is large and loud.

Somewhere in Red Rocks, Kraft Boulders?

Mike Anderson · · Colorado Springs, CO · Joined Nov 2004 · Points: 3,265

That's definitely in the Happy Boulders or Buttermilks, but I'm not familiar enough to say where.
