The phrase that really gets my goat here is "THIS is what real climbing is all about." Oooh, you're so tough, you're a "trad" climber. I climb those cracks, too, as well as sport, boulders and ice; I love it all. Climbing is "all about" the mindset you take into — and from — the activity, I think. The way you climb (and act on a climb, for that matter) can say a lot about how you live your life. However, to underscore the point I think you were intending to make, Woodchuck, is that yes, this photo makes my fingers itch for the depths of a crimson crack I usually can only imagine as I contemplate the gap between the stove and counter top while sipping beer after another day in the cubicle; the photo is a nice reminder that heaven exists on earth.
