Yeah Dobbe totally agree. Stupid things like this bring unwanted attention. It's like leaving a bunch of trash or something. We don't need to give excuses for why we shouldn't be allowed to be up there climbing.

I don't know John K, I kinda disagree, I think it is a big deal. It's on the severely overhanging Outta Dodge boulder, and chalk stays there a long time, and is unsightly even without the semi-profane nature of the inscription. It's graffiti, and presumably it's climber graffiti (unknown perpetrator admittedly). The families camping at Group B don't want to see that crap. Climbers should be overly respectful of the park, rock, and other user groups to avoid conflict. Easy enough to shut us down, similar to Gibraltar, all Nature Conservancy land, etc. Maybe an over-reaction but still uncalled for IMO.
I didn't realize this discussion went on so long. In reply,
Yes, it is graffiti and it is disrespectful. I still wouldn't worry about it much, but I do understand the worry in the first place. Anything that posses a threat to our climbing here in WI, needs to be handled quickly.
We came across this today at group B. It was written in chalk. I'm hoping it wasn't climbers but if it was please don't do this no reason to jeopardize climbers access.
