Hello all! My name is Beryl Shereshewsky. I am writing an article for Grandparents.com about rock climbing and I need to get a real quick interview with a few grandparents who climb. The sooner the better because I am real close to deadline here. I would really appreciate any help because boy, I am having a tough time! My email address is b.shereshewsky@yahoo.com

Thanks so much!

I'm a grandma of a 5 year old, and I'm pretty much a beginner climber. I love it. We actually took my grand-daughter when she was about 3 with a kid harness and everything, she started to try it, but then got a bit scared.

Salute:

Don't believe everything BN says. Latin was not my home language. Anyway, I have 6 grandkids (4-19) and climb. PM me if you want more information.

My husband and I are both 58, though he's 5 months older. We have a granddaughter who'll turn 2 on 12/7. Erik has climbed since 1973, I've climbed since 1982. We're less possessed than we were some years ago, but still get a major kick out of it; it's our first choice of an activity anytime the weather is even close to acceptable.

I have two sons, 20 and 23, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had grand kids out there somewhere.

I have 2 Grandkids, 7 and 3 and the first thing they want to do when they come over to our house is to go play on my indoor wall. The oldest has been to the gym a few times but I still haven't taken her climbing outdoors yet.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
