Awesome cover photo!

Brings to memory the huge, frosty, frozen, "lily pads" which seemed to mysteriously appear and disappear with the shifting currents.

Every so often, my thoughts or dreams go back to the day we climbed Dairyland and the harder route to the right (name ?). I imagine huge chunks, or, the whole f-ing thing coming off, obliterating us, and subsequently smashing us out into frigid Lake Superior to drown an icy death amongst the peaceful lily pads.

Sh*t gives me shivers....

Yep...spend a bit of time traveling to Grand Island last spring and wondering if we would fall through the lake ice. It was mid April and we were debating how smart it was to cross on a snowmachine. A Munising local blasted over the snow bank in a Chevy Blazer and headed for the island We figured it was safe and we were glad we did. Monster ice under bluebird skies!

It's cool to see Michigan Ice in the mag,
This place taught me how to go after adventure and I'm psyched to see
it displayed in such quality photos.
Lake Superior is the real deal!

Sweet,
I'd like to come home to T.C. and visit the Family
this winter and hopefully shoot up there for a few days.

You should.....would be fun! I dropped off a bunch of the mags to the folks in Munising and they are very excited about the exposure!

Cool photo. Wish I could have made it to grand island last winter, but ran out of time.

Looking forward to my third year at Ice Fest! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
