The beautiful north face of Hood with Eliot Glacier.  The Cooper Spur goes up the prominent ridge on the left.  The Sunshine ascends the right skyline and the north face routes go up the left-leaning couloirs on the face.

Damn, that looks very condition dependent. Steele cliffs would be a crumbling nightmare without a thick coating of rime.

This was post storm in October- 2005 I think. We were wondering if this line had been climbed before, due to the ephemeral conditions. Probably has by a bunch of old hardpeople, but who knows. Still an adventure especially since most screw placements were a joke...

I've done a bunch of lines through there over the years. Clients never know how much danger they're in.
