I remember doing this route years ago with Bob Burnholz and Joe Melley under the name "Dope on a Rope". Not sure of the original first ascent, but I remember it being steep and in your face, especially after the wide, lower section. Thanks for posting the nice pics, brings back fond memories of Taylor Canyon.
