Unreal. The photography alone is worth the purchase. The new Gold Standard for Eldo guidebooks by far. Steve, this is masterful. I just spent hours gawking at the eBook and am now finishing this post so I can go back to it. Goodbye the rest of my day - hello new guidebook! |

Is anyone else having trouble with the eBook? I downloaded it, but when I try to unzip it, I get "invalid format" when I try both WinZip, and the native Windows Vista unzipper. |
nick, i had the same problem. email fred and he will send you a cd in the mail pronto. i had the cd the next day. |
i've had trouble downloading as well. I think it has to do with the network i'm on though. |
I had the same problem as well. You can work around it by downloading some open source software, wget, from gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/pa… install and then run the command |
We've definitely encountered some download issues, as the file is quite large so that the pages print well. It is important to right-click or option-click (Mac) for the download. Even them it sometimes logs out especially on large workplace networks. I will put it up on an ftp site which seems to have fewer problems and I will include that information shortly. I apologize for any problems. Also, please carefully read the email for unlocking the book. It is important to click the license attachment at the bottom. |

I had some problems too, but w/ a fast turn around from Fred problems solved. Bear with them as this is a first for Sharp End to work with the eBook technology. |
Thanks for all the troubleshooters helping out. I have purchased a yousendit subscription and am now emailing the file with the order. It seems to be working very well. |
Works via ftp! Thanks Fred. Looks awesome. 448 pages! |

this is, hands down, the best guidebook that i have ever seen. it is absolutely top notch in every aspect - accuracy, proofreading, photos, layout, aesthetics. this raises the bar so high that i feel sorry for future guidebook authors. great work steve and sharp end. |

I had trouble too on the win box. Brought it down on the linux box just fine :) |

I was just able to download the eBook this morning and I havent had much time to go through it but I got to say that Ive been blown away with the guide book. Its simply incredible. From the history, the route pictures, the layout, its a work of art. |

does anyone know how the DRM works on this? If I open it at work, can I still open it at home? I'm not familiar with LockLizard's DRM. |

Sure he knows. Good question. It could be IP dependent or possibly you just need a LL app on each computer with the proper license file installed ... don't know. |
