Rumor has it that there is a rap line to the left (south) of Kor's door. Has anyone noticed this rap line??

I used it to descend from Kor's door several years ago. It is climbers right of Alexanders chimney. It should keep you out of the wet chimney on the good rock to the right. You will end up on pretty easy 2nd and 3rd class blocks.

It's no rumor.....it's been there better than 10 years.

The rap route off broadway generally follows the route "crack of delight".

Well then that begs the question...why does there need to be another rap route?

Check out this Comment by Christa Cline which describes the Alexander's Chimney rappel route as it existed in 2004.

Becuase in early or wet season you cannot get the cracks of delight and all so if your packs are at the base or Kor dock why not rap back to them rather than spend an hour after you top out getting to the carcks rap and then have to spen another 30-40 mins getting back to you packs at the base of the Kor route. All so ice climbers use these raps in the winter as well. Many reasons.

Fair enough.

Crista describes rapping down Alexanders. This will get you very wet. There are nice bolted rap stations to the climbers right of Alexanders.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
