The second pitch of kingpin continues directly up and finishes at the same anchors as the direct route. Excellent pitch becareful of soft rock near the top.

2nd pitch rappel anchors for King Pin and Direct Route need to be replaced. They are really bad. There is one bomber bolt and 2 scary cemented pins. Half of the cement has eroded out of the holes leaving about an inch or more of the pin exposed. SCARY! The pitch is way fun though.

Those bolts are bomber. I placed some of those bolts. You should enjoy the doubt the Bowling Alley gives. Instead of being scared, you should add another 1/2" bolt and call it good. I love this little crag.

Stevie, I agree that the route is great and adventurous, however, the anchor bolts, as of 2 months ago, need to be replaced for everyones safety. I'll try to add a new bolt next time that I climb the 2nd pitch. I'll post it if I do.

Hey, Cedar-town residents, feel free to replace any of those bolts!!! It should not be too hard to pull the old ones--$10 cro-bar. Calder Stratford and I put up gutterball. It was way fun! Good times. Thanks for posting this stuff up.
