Wow- sure looks like its been hammered. I haven't been on Flatus Triple D yet this year and don't remember seeing this the last time last year.. Is this hold on climb and ends up making the climbing easier? Not that this would make its existence right by any means but it would help explain why someone would have chiseled a hold??

I think it has been there a long time, I remember it from at least a few years ago. It does make one move a bit easier (Without using it there is an awkward match above), but not near enough to even justify the effort. People are crazy though.
