Springz Beer Night- Thurs. 4/30

Hey Springs Climberz.... its time to plan. Getting this one started early so hopefully EVERYONE can make plans to be there. It will be at McCabe's @ 6:30 till Late?! :) So, mark your calendars, set your sun dials or write it on some Tape and stick it on the wall!! :) Lets get a great showing this go round!!

I will arrange some deals w/ McCabe's, get some schawg and "sponsership" and get some games/trivia or something prepared. Also, if anyone wants to sell/buy/trade some gear- just post it up and get an exchange going. Lets make this the biggest and best beer night yet!

Also, at this sware', lets talk about a Beer Trip in the near future. Its getting SO nice and we should get out and have a- BNCW- Beer Night Climbing Weekend! So, bring your ideas...

Yo Gramps, what up!?!? :) Glad to see the feistiness still lingers. :)As for my kids(gone by 8:30btw), they respect the members of the AARP, thus, no harm done. I'll be ready for the elderly thrashing tho' for sure, just dont make me cry or hit me w/ your cane, k?

As for the knee- brace is off. Seeing the doc tomorrow, hope he says I can climb. But, even if not, I will anyway..:) Time to start the vertical rehab. Thanks for askin'.

And on the friday note.. Im open. Once peeps(that means people) start chimming in, we'll see what comes. The only thing is there is a band, but we could just start earlier? Lets flow w/ the group and just do what day will get the most people there. So, still THURS for now...

I'm in what ever day. Had to miss the last one due to whining kids that were not my own. Won't happen again. Last finals on the 29th and I'll be taking a cab home. Hungover slab climbing in the AM anyone?

Kevin- Doc says dont climb till the 3mo mark at minimum... but dont fret. Lets still get out, can belay and do some easy (6-8?) on TR. Maybe next weekend?

Common Kellen. This is a follow up to my return to the real world after one hell of a semester. Wed night FRBBQ being the kick off. Grab Jane and atleast come buy for an early beer.

How about Tam O Shanters sometime. That way you it could be advertised over at the SCC and all the climbers could head over after they left the gym. I am sure if some specials could be worked out, theyd get a huge turn out....I dont know, just a thought.

I hope the climbing has been good for you this spring! I am just sending you a reminder that beer night is this Thursday, April 30th @ McCabes. 6:30-late. So get ready and spread the word. Tell and bring a climbing friend, or 5!!

There will be 2 for 1 on your first round, at the very least, and maybe more beer or food specials. I am also talking w/ Mtn Chalet about some items(cam, nuts, chalk bag, cordalette, etc) to be donated for a $5 raffle, proceeds to go to the Access Fund. Not confirmed yet, but probable. I am also working on some new trivia and games as well.

So, get a sitter, kennel the dog and find a climbers pad to crash at if needed and come and join the fun! Spread the word too!
