Thanks to Tommy, I'm no longer stuck in the horizontal.

Just one thing can unnerve the big Norseman - buzzworms. Read all about his shorts-staining showdown with the scaly beasts on page 28 of issue 176 of R & I, out in stores now.

Seriously, Tom. Thanks for the great mentorship, stories, and inspiration.

Happy Birthday Tom! See you around the Wood!

I thought gettin horizontal was a good thing?

Never mind.

Careful Mark, we are all headed that way sooner (me) or later (everybody else).

You go Tommy! We'll be pulling down in the wood for the next 30 years.

Oh, it is, it is. Thanks to Peter and Elkie Zpittvar's ground (or ball) breaking work, its now no longer taboo to get horizontal on the vertical: youtube.com/watch?v=1AiYaSy…

Ummmmm, HBD Tom. (Hate to hijack on a guy's 50th.)

Happy Birthday Tom! It's ok to sit by the fire with the elders while the young bucks dance in it. That is, Unless, you feel like dancing in the fire!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tom at sobo 151 a month ago. He is a class act in the true sense of the term. Anyone who can in-line skate up lookout mountain is alright by me!

Happy Birthday Tom!
