North Glacier Pass and Lake Catherine (11,040'). <br> <br> I promised Marsha that cross-country in the Sierra was always easy meadows. She's resting at the point where the easy stuff ended and two long days of talus and scrambling began.
Banner Peak, 12,945' (3943m), and Thousand Island Lake. <br> <br> Marsha and I hiked from June Lake to Yosemite Valley. Thanks to the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation (YART) arranging a shuttle unnecessary.
