I'm trying to take a large group up to Vedauwoo to do some climbing and some Biking and I'd like to find a group camp site that I can reserve for a long weekend. I know that I've seen a few loops up in the area that are chained off and look like group sites, but I can't find any informaton.

Does anyone know of any group campsites in the Vedauwoo area?

If so, do you know where I need to go to make a reservation?

We camped as a group there last spring. Its first come first served, $10/night. We just drove down the main campground road until we found a site, pitched our tents and camped. I think we had 10+ people in our group.

These links might help if you haven't seen them already:

there is plenty of free camping in the area. unless you need rv hookups, or really find an outhouse to be necessary, why pay?

Because rednecks invade the best group sites on the weekend. The only way to guarantee that it will be nice and quiet is if you go to the main area.

Hmm. But what if he's a redneck?
