To remember you're good fortunes, and lend a hand to those who are not so lucky.

My family and I have decided to hold a coat drive for a homeless shelter here in Denver. If you have any coats, gloves hats or hand warmers that you would like to donate, please contact me. Thank you.

Great idea, Ryan. Have you considered also Coats for Colorado? At their last distribution they ran out of children's coats so the little ones could really use the help. I have made my donation to them.

While I heard the final day of collection was yesterday, dollars to donuts they'll continue accepting coats at any Dependable Cleaners before their next distribution this Friday.

We are also seeking large boxes, blankets and new socks. All donations will go to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and are tax deductable.

Thrillseekers climbing gym has been kind enough to allow us to put a box in their store, so items may be dropped off there!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
