Heard about some folks getting ticketed for parking at one of the pulloffs near high wire crag. Does anyone have any info on this?

these people are parking on the 'no parking' side of the road. everything on the side of high wire and the river wall is no parking. the extremely large pullout on the highlander/sonic youth side is fair game. don't know why people can't drive the extra 100 yards to get to the pullout, but if they can't read the clearly marked 'no parking' sign (or choose to blatantly ignore it), they deserve the ticket.

There's another good reason not to park under the no parking signs as well. You can avoid having your car crushed by a bus-sized boulder like that poor guy a while back. That picture of him laughing beside the pancaked auto was priceless.

I parked on the north side yesterday with no problems. The description on "destinations" clearly states where parking is permissible.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
