Considering all of that, I only got 1 of my 10 routes and It'll be a while before I can climb that hard again, I suppose. |

I'm not doing so well with my list, but not too shabby according to others... I'm up to 43. Just when I was feeling sorry for myself for not getting out enough this year! Thanks. |

Considering all of that, I only got 1 of my 10 routes and It'll be a while before I can climb that hard again, I suppose. From that I can update: Broken Hand, 8/08 Torn ACL, torn menisucs, 9/08 Wiating 1 month for the hand to heal so I could get the knee reconstructed, 9/08 Knee reconstruction 10/08. One day climbing between the cast off the hand and going under the knife 9/31/08. Patella-Femuror syndrome complications in PT: 12/08 Projected next date to be allowed to climb: 4/09. How did everyone do with their lists??? I had 3 months out of hte country and 6 months injured. I ticked one of the 10 routes on my list: "The Throne: 5.11c" mountainproject.com/v/color… Not a years worth of climbing, for sure, but definately a memorable pitch. It took me a second go back to it (thanks to Jason Haas for the first go as a partner, and Shumin Wu for the second & successful run at it.) NEXT???? Did anyone get 10/10? Anyone even make 50%??? Do dreams come true??? |
